Spotlight on: Drag Queen Story Hour. A recent article from BBC, “Drag Queen Story Hour in America’s Bible Belt,” draws attention to the role of public libraries in the increasing popularity of the event as it has spread from urban liberal centers such as San Francisco and NYC to more rural areas, sparking protest and controversy in traditionally more conservative communities.
