As we say hello to another academic year, we say farewell to graduating members of the Hack Library School team. Our graduating writers have said their goodbyes already, but we wanted to take a moment to extend a special farewell and a big “thank you” to Melissa Dewitt as she hands off her leadership roles to a new team of editors and staff.
Melissa was officially our Community Manager through the last year. However, due to other members of the leadership team having scheduling conflicts and so on (life happens!) Melissa stepped up! She took on the roles of two editors, social media management, and her original tasks as the Community Manager in order to keep the blog running smoothly.
Please join us in the comments below in thanking Melissa for all of her hard work here on the blog. Not to mention, big congratulations are due–she finished her MLIS at the University of Denver, and is moving on to an excellent full-time position as a Reference and Instruction Librarian at Regis University!
Thank you Melissa, congratulations, and best of luck in all that you do!
