ALA has voted to rescind their controversial update to Meeting Rooms: An Interpretation of the Library Bill of Rights. A working group has been created to draft a new revision that will be voted on during the ALA Midwinter meeting in 2019.


The American Library Association (ALA) Rural, Native and Tribal Libraries of All Kinds (RNTLOAK) Committee has released a Guide to Building Support for your Tribal Library, with support from the ALA Office for Diversity, Literacy, and Outreach Services and the American Indian Library Association (AILA)
