2018 Top Trends in Academic Libraries – A review of the trends and issues affecting academic libraries in higher education, from the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) Research Planning and Review Committee

The Library of Congress has introduced a new “Story Maps” page on their website. Each story explores the history of a topic through a series of maps and images. It’s an amazing experience, and way of using a collection that others may find useful, particularly for interacting with students. My favorite is Incunabula, the history of printing.
