May 17th is Global Accessibility Awareness Day! Although it is not exclusively a library event, libraries around the world should consider participating. With an aim toward “design, development, usability, and related communities who build, shape, fund and influence technology and its use”, the event tries to raise awareness and get people thinking and talking about digital accessibility. Curious about what web accessibility is? Check out the W3 Web Accessibility Initiative for more information.
