When fake news is prevalent and print journalism is in crisis, do you know where to turn? (well… I might be preaching to the choir here.) The answer, to myself and apparently to The Atlantic as well, is: the library! I read a a story this week on The Atlantic answering this question while also discussing Marilyn Johnson’s This Book is Overdue!: How Librarians and Cybrarians Can Save Us All. As a fan of small town libraries and the superheroes who run them, it was very cool to see the credit returned where it was [over]due.
