Weekly Spotlight!

Each week, we reflect on the top articles, blog posts, tweets, news, thoughts, and other tidbits we’ve found interesting or useful. Check out what our writers have spotted this week in library news. Enjoy!

This week on the ACRLog, Quetzalli Barrientos shared a resource list for DACA students and their families. HLS alum Nisha Mody shared her first post as the ACRLog’s new First Year Academic Librarian Experience blogger. Congrats, Nisha!

Library ebooks just got easier to borrow. Google announced that ebooks available from your local library will now show up in search results for handy checkout. Currently the feature is available in the U.S. with plans to roll out to additional countries.

With a lot of heavy happenings in the news lately, this wonderful spoof from a group of New Zealand librarians will give you a welcome chuckle.
