Love reader’s advisory? An article from this week’s New Yorker describes the work of two women who have made a career out of it… as bibliotherapists. According to the article, the practice can be traced “all the way back to the Ancient Greeks, ‘who inscribed above the entrance to a library in Thebes that this was a ‘healing place for the soul.'”
