Weekly Roundup!

Each week, we reflect on the top articles, blog posts, tweets, news, thoughts, and other tidbits we’ve found interesting or useful. Enjoy!

In my reference class, I’ve rekindled my love for Credo Reference. It’s a great starter spot for all things reference and I liked this article talking a bit more about the history of the site.

Looking to get some library, archives, or information science experience this summer? Consider applying for the Atkins Fellowship at the University of North Carolina Charlotte.

As I write this, the Computers in Libraries conference in Washington DC is wrapping up. There have been many great speakers addressing topics from maker spaces to user interface design and testing to big data. Surf on over to the presentations area of the conference website to download copies of presenters’ PowerPoint presentations, or watch a video of select presentations. I would especially recommend David Snowden’s keynote on “Innovation and the Knowledge Ecosystem.” He is a very charismatic speaker!
